Come out and enjoy the stunning fall foliage, dairy farms, and quaint villages in their classic New England splendor. All routes include scenic rolling hills of the beautiful Pioneer Valley, the heart of New England cycling.
Tour of the Valley entrance fee includes supported ride, a gourmet BBQ lunch buffet with craft beer and entertainment featuring a pro BMX stunt show and psychedelic dixieland music of The Primate Fiasco. The first 100 registrants get collector’s edition fair-trade, cotton T-shirt (century and metric century only.)
That sounds like a whole lot of cycling joy.
They have rides of 100, 60, 40, and a 25 mile Family ride planned. Which ride to do?
If you go to the registration page you can see the elevation profiles of the rides. I like knowing what I’m getting into. Large hills don’t completely intimidate me, but they aren’t the kind of surprise I want. Each ride also has a route focus. The two that interest me are the 40 mile Orchard ride, and the 25 mile Family ride.
